Palace on Wheels will halt at Sawai Madhopur, a city founded by Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I, early in the morning. After having breakfast in Sawai Madhopur, tourists will proceed towards Ranthambore National Park. Spread over an area of 392 sq. km., the park is home to numerous species of animals and birds. Apart from the wildlife, one of the popular tourist attractions of Ranthambore is the Ranthambore Fort, rich architecturally as well as historically. One can have splendid views of the park from the fort.

After returning to Sawai Madhopur, one can go for shopping also. The city is known for toys, ethnic ornaments and costumes.
